Welcome to my branding project "Sweet Dreams", which is an imaginative venture offering DIY baking kits for international desserts.
Rooted in the core values of quality, reliability, and aesthetics, this brand is tailored for foodies, aficionados of cooking and baking programs, and those who revel in the art of impressing through delightful creations.
Designed in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, the comprehensive package includes a clean and minimalistic logo, eye-catching packaging, enticing merchandise, elegant letterhead, envelopes & business cards, and engaging social media posts - all presented in lifelike mock-ups.

Taking the Brand Online: The E-Commerce UI/UX Case Study
To bring the Sweet Dreams experience to life globally, I designed and developed a fully functional, pixel-perfect e-commerce platform. The goal was to translate the brand's boutique identity from tangible packaging into an intuitive, conversion-driven digital product.
Concept: A World Dessert Tour
The digital experience was built around a unique experiential storytelling concept: 'A World Dessert Tour'. With the headline 'Bake the world, one kit at a time,' the website transforms standard shopping into an international culinary journey, where each baking kit represents a different cultural destination.
From Print to Pixels: Digital Identity & Design Adaptation
In transitioning the brand from physical packaging to an interactive online experience, my main focus was evolving the visual assets into a cohesive digital design system. I preserved the original brand logo, while making intentional adjustments to the supporting typography and color palette to better suit digital screens. By slightly changing the brand's primary tones into deep, grounding purples and soft background washes, I established a clean interface hierarchy that reduces visual strain. This ensures that the website remains highly accessible and readable across all devices, while ensuring the physical products and colorful baking kits to stand out as the main heroes of the interface.
Key UX Features
Appetite-Driven & High-Context Product Cards
To instantly capture the user's interest, I designed the product cards using a visual-first layout where a high-quality, mouth-watering hero image dominates the upper 60% of the card. Overlayed subtly on the image are essential decision-making markers: the destination's national flag and the baking difficulty level. Below the fold, the layout shifts to a clean, minimal container housing the kit's name, description, price, and a direct 'Add to Cart' CTA. This structural hierarchy satisfies both the emotional craving and the functional data needed for an efficient purchase flow.
From Discovery to Detail: The Product Page Journey
Clicking on a kit transitions the user to a dedicated product detail page designed to eliminate purchase anxiety. I mapped the information architecture to answer the baker's core questions sequentially:
The Tangible Value: A clear 'What's inside the box' section and dedicated imagery.
The Process: A unified, highly readable recipe card and explicit prep time metrics.
Social Proof: Integrated user testimonials to build trust and drive conversions.
End-to-End Engagement: 'AI Baking Butler'

To elevate the user experience beyond a standard checkout, I integrated the 'AI Baking Butler'. This smart digital companion serves a dual purpose across the user journey: it acts as a conversational guide during product discovery to help bakers select kits based on skill, special event or dietary preferences, and morphs into a real-time kitchen assistant during the baking process to troubleshoot technical challenges on the fly.
Example Use Case:
User: 'My macaron batter is too runny!'
AI Butler: 'Ah, the classic Parisian woe. Likely over-folded - stop at the "lava ribbon" stage. Rest the shells 30 min before baking for proper feet.'
From Concept to Code: Bringing the Tour to Life
Sweet Dreams evolved from a physical branding concept into a rich, interactive e-commerce ecosystem. By merging emotional design like the appetite-driven product cards and the immersive dessert tour story, with modern, utility-focused UX features like real-time AI troubleshooting - the platform delivers a complete end-to-end digital experience.
