In this UX/UI project, I designed a mobile app named ‘Platonic’.
Inspired by the unique challenges faced by solo business travelers, who seek more than just business in their journeys. Many solo business travelers often face a common challenge – the loneliness and isolation during their trips. The absence of companionship for meals, exploration, and networking can make these journeys less enjoyable and socially fulfilling.
Platonic envisions a world where solo business travelers seamlessly connect with like-minded professionals, turning their solo trips into social and enriching adventures. It's about more than just networking; it's about creating meaningful connections and shared experiences.
The UX phase involved precise research, diving deep into the needs and pain points of solo travelers. Leveraging these insights, the UI design process was focusing on a “smart” and professional aesthetic with a calming blue palette that reflects professionalism and trust.
