Collaborating with fellow students Noa Shauli and Elinor Zafrir, I designed a dynamic advertising campaign, promoting a new sunscreen formula that promises protection against uneven and embarrassing tan lines.
Utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, we infused humor into the campaign to appeal to our target audience's desire for aesthetics, emphasizing high-quality and healthy tanning. Departing from traditional approaches, we chose a light-hearted tone to position sunscreen as a care product rather than merely a health product.
Our creative assets include posters, billboards, and a digital presence such as social media cover, profile, post, landing page, and cellular banner. We aimed to blend design skills with a keen understanding of consumer psychology, in order to deliver a memorable and effective advertising campaign.
The main challenge in this project was to achieve consensus on the visual style. The initial iterations fell short of our expectations, prompting a thoughtful reassessment of the images' style and color palette. We invested considerable time in refining our vision and understanding the nuanced elements until we reached the desired outcome that captured the essence of our humorous sunscreen campaign.
